Kenneth S. Barker (Comics Historian)
Around 1994, Kenneth Barker, a Presbyterian minister and noted comics historian living in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada, wrote some timely pieces for the Owen Sound Sun Times about the 100th anniversary of the comics. The above is one such article he wrote that covered not only comics throughout the world, but in our own Canada. Unfortunately, Rev. Barker has since passed away, but an internet search will surely turn up some of his research, which was considerably exhaustive for a minister of the gospel. (~Webmaster's Note)
